Artistic Journey Unfolded

I was an outdoor child growing up, always off exploring and finding my own path without stopping. That is unless I was spending hours upon hours painting or drawing. There's never been a moment in my life where I haven't had this innate need to create. Since the first moment I started creating I have never stopped. With my curious nature, I've experimented with every medium I've the opportunity to try. I'd always thought art and creativity was everyone's natural default setting, it wasn't until much later than I'd like to admit that I discovered it wasn't. Discovering that made me realise why people ask me to share my work and it's because not everyone is a creator. So I pursued my passion to create in university with a fine art degree with a focus on photography, where I predominantly spent my days in the darkroom. The more technically skilled I became in photography, the more abstract my work became, fusing darkroom prints and abstract painting.

Currently my work continues to explore expression through abstraction, without the incorporation of photography.
